Delvant

Four lines of work.

Each engagement starts from a problem you can name, and ends in something you can hold: a document, a model, a recommendation you can act on without me in the room.

01

Market entry & business development

The problem. A payments business wants a new market or a new channel and has no local commercial depth — no view of who the counterparties are, what the going terms look like, or which doors are worth knocking on.

What I do. Assess the market and the competitors in it, build the entry options with the commercial rationale behind each, identify and approach partner targets, and support the negotiation itself.

What you get
Market and competitive assessment. Entry model options with commercial rationale. Partner target list and approach. Negotiation support. A staged plan with decision gates.

02

EV charging payments

The problem. A charging operator is now running a payments business without having hired for one — and the regulation, the fraud and the per-session economics all arrive at once.

What I do. Set out in detail on the EV charging payments page.

What you get
Acquiring and PSP selection paper. Payment architecture recommendation for unattended terminals. Session-level economic model. Compliance gap assessment.

03

Monetization & pricing strategy

The problem. Revenue that doesn’t reflect the value being delivered, or a pricing structure that was inherited rather than designed — and nobody can say which products or segments actually carry the margin.

What I do. Take the revenue architecture apart, rebuild the pricing model against what the business actually delivers, and put the commercial terms behind it on a consistent footing.

What you get
Revenue architecture review. Pricing model redesign. Margin waterfall by product and segment. Commercial terms framework for partner agreements.

04

Payments security & risk advisory

The problem. Fraud, chargebacks and compliance obligations treated as a cost centre to be minimised, rather than as commercial variables that decide whether a product makes money.

What I do. Quantify the exposure, design controls against it, and make the compliance scope smaller where it can defensibly be made smaller.

What you get
Fraud and chargeback exposure review. Control design. PCI DSS scope reduction advisory. SCA and exemption strategy. Vendor assessment.

Advisory only. Delvant does not perform certification, audit or penetration testing.

How engagements work

Every engagement is scoped as defined deliverables against agreed milestones.

You approve the scope before work starts and you accept each deliverable before it is invoiced. Delvant works with several clients concurrently and takes on engagements from three weeks to multi-quarter programmes.
